Description
Lamb Tripe is an entirely natural dog treat product, made from dried pieces of the inner lining from a sheep’s stomach. Many people feed raw untreated tripe to their dogs, but as this presents difficulties for many people in terms of storage and preparation our tripe has been air-dried from raw. This means the tripe will last much longer at ambient temperatures (i.e. it does not need to be kept in the fridge) but still has its natural goodness and nutrients locked in. Please be aware, as this is a 100% natural product there will likely be variation in the size and thickness of each chew, and though it has been treated the tripe will have a strong smell that some people find off-putting.
When given as part of a balanced diet, dried tripe sticks can provide a range of health benefits for your dog. Like many natural chews they can aid in keeping your dog’s teeth clean and strong, they are high in protein and relatively low in fat, and can reduce your dog’s boredom by keep them stimulated and engaged.
